INFORMATION GALORE

Don and I met with my oncologist this morning. He gave us the results of the tests that I took yesterday. They all came back clear. Yay God!! He went on to tell us that he didn't want me to be a part of the trial that he had given me the information on last week. He felt it would be better to just treat me with three of the drugs in the trial, but leave out the fourth which is the drug they're testing. He answered the few questions we had for him, told us to have a wonderful week in Hawaii and that we would start the treatment on Tuesday, May 11th.

He then turned us over to one of his teaching nurses. She was very nice and gave us an overwhelming amount of information on what drugs that will be used in the chemotherapy, their side effects, drugs I'll need to take to ward of nausea plus resources for various needs.

We left the office with our heads swimming but happy that no cancer was found to have spread.
